About Us
Normally, I dislike the “About Us” pages you see on web sites. Usually pretentious and self--aggrandizing, they generally say a little about the company and its officers, use a lot of “techno-speak”to describe services that could easily be explained in a few well-phrased sentences and say little if anything about what the company in questions actually does. For precisely these reasons most site visitors do not even read the “About” section. Thus, over my years of working with and on the Internet I have formed the opinion that creating one is a serious waste of time and cyber real estate.
But today I am breaking my rule against them, for what I think is a good reason.
Over the past few years a plethora of web sites dealing with various aspects of chronic pain has appeared on the Web. Some of them are excellent; some are very good, but far too many are mediocre at best. The information that they disseminate is often inaccurate or simply without value, and few offer any meaningful advice or support to their readers. Nevertheless, many people living with chronic pain, frustrated by years of having virtually no information on their condition(s) available to them, devour this content regardless of its validity. This both saddens and angers me; people in pain both need and deserve detailed, well-researched information and no one has a right to provide them with anything less.
And so I am writing this section despite my misgivings in order to explain to you why I believe that my colleagues and I are uniquely qualified to guide you in your search for a personal path to healing. I hope that when you have finished you will believe it, tt. Please read more about Your Healer Within
